What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dressmaker/Tailor/Sewist position at dom+bomb?
A Spokane, WA-based fashion label is looking for a tailor/sewist. This is a part-time, project-based position with a flexible schedule. We are launching a new line and looking for someone to assist with developing prototypes and fulfilling orders. We are an on-demand manufacturing-based operation. Orders are sewn after they are received through the dom bomb website (www.domandbomb.com).

Requirements
- Located in Spokane, WA or nearby – this is not a remote position
- Experienced certified seamstress or equivalent experience
- Experience working with plus sizes preferred
- 3 years working as a dressmaker, seamstress, or tailor
- Knowledge of how to cut patterns, and make and mend clothing
- Specializing in dressmaking, and lining, underlining, and interlining preferred
- Complete alterations, sew hems, fix tears, mend zippers, and apply buttons
- Experience making clothing using highly specialized fabric, such as neoprene, double knits, wool or flannel, and delicate fabrics like silk or cashmere.
- Able to successfully work in a team setting
