Position Summary
- The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch, reservations, fleet coordination, and operational support functions to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency.
- This individual will work closely with dispatchers, reservationists, drivers, mechanics, and management teams to maintain the highest standards of customer service, safety, and fleet readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise dispatch and reservation operations
- Organize and manage employee schedules for dispatch, reservations, and support staff
- Coordinate closely with the Service Manager regarding fleet maintenance, repairs, and vehicle availability
- Address and resolve customer service concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction
- Monitor team performance and review operational goals regularly
- Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to team members
- Conduct regular meetings with operations, dispatch, reservations, and service personnel
- Support operational systems including Santa Cruz, Samsara, GroundPad, Driver Schedule, and Mobit Text Alert software
- Oversee facility and grounds support scheduling and maintenance coordination
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness standards are consistently maintained by the wash team
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in charter bus, luxury transportation, or passenger transportation operations management
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Experience managing operational technology and electronic data systems
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong analytical and team management skills
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
