**CAD Design Engineer – Commercial Construction** We are looking for a **CAD Design Engineer** with strong 3D skills to produce architectural submittal and fabrication drawings for commercial projects. **Responsibilities:** * Create 3D models and 2D shop/fabrication drawings using **AutoCAD 3D, Inventor, or SolidWorks*** Prepare complete **architectural submittal packages** (plans, elevations, sections, details)* Interpret architectural/structural drawings and coordinate with project managers and fabrication teams* Detail components for **millwork, store fixtures, glass storefronts, and/or architectural metalwork** **Requirements:** * **3 years** CAD design experience in **AutoCAD 3D, Inventor, or SolidWorks*** Experience in **commercial construction** producing submittal and fabrication/shop drawings* Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects **Preferred:** * Experience with **architectural millwork, store fixtures, glass storefronts, or architectural metalwork*** Familiarity with industry standards and fabrication processes for Commercial Restrooms including experience with ADA standards for public restrooms.
