Registered Nurse – MedSurg / PCU / Telemetry – Night Shift

Location: Newport, Vermont 05855
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients in the PCU, MedSurg, and Telemetry units.
- Independently assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Monitor telemetry patients and recognize changes in patient condition requiring timely intervention.
- Perform charge nurse duties and coordinate patient care and unit activities when assigned.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary departments, and other members of the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license; state licensure requirements must be met upon acceptance.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
- Previous experience in Medical-Surgical, PCU, and/or Telemetry nursing.
- BLS/BCLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
