Position Details
- Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)
- Location: Albuquerque, NM 87112
- Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay Range: $72/hr to $75/hour
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Order Reason: New Opening
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all nursing activities within the facility
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, individualized patient care
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures
- Review patient records and monitor clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative leadership
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards
- Manage staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations
- Address patient and family concerns promptly and professionally
- Perform administrative duties including reporting, budgeting, and resource management
