Job Summary
Though the exercise of skills and experience, prepare food for guests from point-of-sale printers, and ensure food cooked to proper temperatures and presentation described in the Cook’s Manual. Give exceptional employee service with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Ensure an environment in which high standards of food quality exist for our guests.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness when preparing meals for guests.
- Set up station and locates necessary utensils and equipment for food preparation.
- Cleans and sanitizes station throughout the shift as required by local health department.
- Perform end of shift and periodic deep cleaning for sanitation and equipment protection.
- Prepares items exactly according to recipe every time: using measuring devices and scales to control food costs.
- Labels day dots, rotates, and stores all items produced.
- Discusses production priorities with manager and line teammates.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with Dolphin Hotel Management policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Always provides a favorable image of the hotel to promote its aims and objectives, and to foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor.
