What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Dock Hand position at Dolphin Cove Marina?

We are looking for a dock person to join our crew at Dolphin Cove Marina. Our rental fleet includes 35 deck boats and pontoons. Marina Manager career path for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Greet guests in a positive & professional manner
- Assist guests in boarding & un-boarding boats
- Check customers in using an iPad
- Perform check of safety equipment on board
- Review boat operations, GPS, charts with customer
- Drive and fuel boats
- Clean boats and equipment for the next day
- Deep clean boats as needed
- Weekend/Holiday shifts required
Qualifications include:
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Boating experience is required
- Ability to perform minor boat maintenance is helpful, not required
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Physical ability to board and un-board boats dozens of times per day
- Physical ability to clean boats often & work outside
- Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity
- Highly effective communication skills and friendly customer service are absolute
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised
- High attention to detail
- Maintain a clean work area
- Schedule is four 10 hour days per week.
