As a Lead Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Your duties will include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. You should also have knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, has good time management skills, and is able to multitask. They should also be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
