Job Description
The RTC Order Selector is responsible for the accurate selection and proper loading on rolltainers with full case products from several locations within the warehouse according to established routing and pick labels. Full Case Order Selector duties occur within assigned area of warehouse operations and require the ability to drive equipment safely, while performing duties and responsibilities of the position. The use of a stow jack is required to transport the selected product to the shipping area of the distribution center.

Full Case Order Selector duties occur within assigned area of warehouse operations and require the ability to drive equipment safely, while performing duties and responsibilities of the position. The use of a stow jack is required to transport the selected product to the shipping area of the distribution center.
Job Responsibility
- Selects merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand from a pick slot into a rolltainer carrier/double stow-jack.
- Lifting cartons of merchandise weighing up to 65 pounds.
- Safely operates equipment while engaged in the order selection process.
- Effectively load product on RT in accordance with proper selecting procedures and to protect product from damage.
- Loads empty / unloads full rolltainers from equipment to shipping department.
- Accountable for meeting productivity, accuracy and safety work standards.
- Reports damages to Supervisor to resolve problems or discrepancies.
- Reports damages and/or vendor compliance issues to supervisor.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through and engineered production standard.
- Meets safety, productivity and quality standards.
- Ability to operate equipment safely.
- Ability to understand slot-sequencing layout of the warehouse.
- Ability to clearly read and understand a large volume of information on printed label, used to place on each case as appropriate.
- Ability to use a voice picking headset unit to follow detailed standard operating procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow co-workers; to understand and provide directions; to respond to management inquiries.
- Continuous lifting of merchandise up to 65 pounds on a regular basis and occasional team lifting of up to 85 pounds.
- Continuous walking, including long distances.
- Continuous mounting/dismounting of rolltainer carrier / stow-jack.
- Standing, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching and pushing and pulling using hands and/or arms on a repetitive basis above and below the shoulder level.
- May work continuously for up to 12 hours.
- Exposure to changing climatic conditions.
- Exposure to dust, lighting and noise.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in an equipment driven distribution center.
- Experience with warehouse management systems applications preferred.
- Previous warehouse and voice pick experience preferred.
