Packaging and Order Fulfillment Lead, part-time
We are a specialty production bakehouse located in Black Mountain currently seeking a lead for our team of 4 part-time packagers. This person will interact with our production manager and sales team to make sure that all baked goods are packaged and all orders are filled in a timely manner.
About the job:
Bakery duties (20%):
· Cut/ portion brownies and biscotti and use ovens
· Assist in Bakery tasks as needed (will train)
· Wash dishes/general cleaning duties
Packaging duties (50%):
· Package and label baked goods
· Pick and pack for local deliveries to coffee shops
· Package goods for local tailgate markets on Fridays
· Ship daily Amazon and website orders
Team Leader duties (30%):
· Make packaging plan for week based on bakery production schedule
· Delegate tasks to 2-3 other team members
· Manage fulfillment of large orders for distributors, including building pallets for weekly truck pick up
· Quality control
General info:
· 3-4 day work week between Mon-Fri, flexible hours (we are open 8am-5pm), 24-30 hours/week
· We do not have a store front, this is a production bakery only
