Position Summary
The Senior Manager for Education is responsible for defining and executing the Education strategy for Dolce and Gabbana Beauty across the United States, LATAM and Travel Retail with a strong focus on fragrance education and content creation. This role plays a key part in elevating brand storytelling, developing impactful education content, and creating effective sales techniques to drive retail performance.
The position requires a strong understanding of the Americas (US, LATAM, TR) beauty retail landscape and works closely with Marketing, Sales, and Global teams to ensure education initiatives support commercial objectives while maintaining the brand’s luxury positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Education Strategy and Content
- Define and lead the Americas strategy in alignment with Global brand vision and U.S. Marketing priorities.
- Design and create high-impact education content with a strong emphasis on fragrances, including product knowledge, olfactive storytelling, brand narratives, and selling tools.
- Develop education materials focused on sales techniques, client engagement, and conversion, tailored to the U.S. retail environment.
- Adapt Global education materials to ensure relevance for the U.S., Latam, and Travel retail consumer and retail environment while maintaining brand consistency and luxury standards.
Training Execution and Field Support
- Lead the planning and execution of education programs for U.S., LATAM, Travel retail Field teams, Retail partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and continuous education for Sales and Training Executives and Education teams.
- Partner with Field leadership to identify training needs and translate them into actionable education content.
- Support key brand moments such as product launches, retail animations, and major commercial initiatives through tailored education programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Americas Marketing, Sales, and Retail teams to ensure education initiatives support commercial objectives.
- Act as the main Education point of contact for Americas stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Collaborate with Global Education and Marketing teams to share feedback, insights, and best practices from the U.S. market.
Retail Excellence and Brand Elevation
- Ensure consistent execution of brand education standards across all retail partners, including Sephora and other Specialty accounts.
- Elevate selling excellence through education-driven activations, in-store trainings, and events.
- Represent the brand at key Americas. trainings, launches, and industry events as needed.
Leadership and Performance Tracking
- Manage and develop Americas Education resources, including trainers and external partners as applicable.
- Manage the Americas Education budget and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Track and report on education KPIs, including training reach, engagement, and impact on sales performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in Education, Training, or Brand Development within the beauty or luxury industry.
- Strong experience in the US, Latam and Travel Retail market, preferably within Specialty Retail.
- Proven expertise in content creation, with a strong focus on fragrance education.
- Experience developing sales techniques and selling tools for retail teams.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish required).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
- Availability to travel.
