Dolce Aroma Coffee Bar is hiring a Coffee Service Associate to support daily coffee bar operations and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, specialty beverages, and other drinks according to service standards
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, POS systems, and other café equipment as trained
- Ensure beverages and food orders are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and packaging for dine-in and takeout orders
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming coffee bar and service areas
- Restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, ingredients, cups, lids, and other café supplies
- Monitor ingredient freshness and follow proper storage procedures
- Clean and sanitize beverage equipment, counters, utensils, and workstations
- Assist team members during busy service periods
- Respond to customer questions and routine service concerns
- Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and general coffee bar duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, barista, retail, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and payment-handling abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask
Preferred Skills
- Experience in coffee or beverage service
- Knowledge of espresso and basic coffee preparation techniques
