Technical Vision and Strategy: Develop and maintain a forward-looking technical vision for Core Audio technologies. Engage with technology leads, product managers, and the audio research team to understand and address both short-term and long-term needs. Roadmap and Execution: Define component requirements and long-term roadmaps. Create and execute tactical plans, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Technical Excellence: Promote a culture of technical excellence and drive engineering teams using agile methodologies. Be adaptable to changes in the market or internal environment. Evangelize core audio technologies across all product and business teams. Influence the products to align audio experiences by using technologies developed by the team. BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA or other business qualification is preferred. 5 years of experience with media technology, specifically in developing or managing audio technologies such as codecs or pre-/post-processors. Demonstrates the ability to thrive in uncertain environments by introducing clarity and structure. Strong technical leadership, system architecture understanding, and innovative problem-solving skills. Effective collaboration in a globally distributed organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Up to date on relevant market developments.
