As a Dolby Vision Post-Production Support Engineer on the Cinema and Group Entertainment team, you will provide support to critical Dolby accounts with a focus on post-production and specialized venues. In this hands-on role, you will be working with partners to ensure Dolby equipment is operating correctly and supporting specific post-production or specialty workflows across various facilities/venues. As a Dolby Vision Post-Production Support Engineer on the Cinema and Group Entertainment team, you will provide support to critical Dolby accounts with a focus on post-production and specialized venues. In this hands-on role, you will be working with partners to ensure Dolby equipment is operating correctly and supporting specific post-production or specialty workflows across various facilities/venues. Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to tailor your solution to the project at hand are highly valued attributes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical liaison and engineering level support, including equipment installation, repair, testing, integration and calibration to studios, post-production facilities, theatres, and other specialized venues
- Provide direct technical support for grading, mastering, and QC of Dolby Vision for theatrical formats
- Train customer personnel on proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment
- Manage screenings and events presented in Dolby Vision. Events may include premieres, press screenings, advanced screenings, etc.
- Working with the wider Content and Industry Relations team, provide educational sessions on Dolby technology and workflow
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of Digital Cinema projectors (electrical, HVAC, advanced repairs like light engine exchanges, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently as required
- Ability to interact with customers, including filmmakers and creative talent, as well as colleagues and executive management with confidence and under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Salary : $90,500 - $120,100
