Dolan Toyota Rental Agent

Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Rental Agent who is responsible for helping customers who need to rent a vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about rental options, rates, and vehicle features. 
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide accurate information.
• Complete rental agreements accurately and efficiently, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after rentals to ensure they are in proper condition.
• Coordinate vehicle pick-up and return schedules to meet customer needs.
• Monitor the availability of rental vehicles.
• Work closely with the Service Team to ensure vehicles are in good, working condition and ready for rental.
• Maintain accurate and organized rental records. Including customer information, contracts, and payment details.
• Process payments and refunds using the company's designated systems.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to rental services.
• Educate customers on safe and responsible vehicle operation.

• Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Prolonged periods of sitting. 
• Consistent, close visual work and frequent hand and finger movement due to computer use.
• Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking, and light jogging when necessary.
• Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times.
• Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
