This role is essential in supporting our internal technicians by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts and tires to their workstations. This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to advance within the department to a counterperson role.
Pay and Schedule:
Pay: $18 per hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, subject to change to meet demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Primary Role: Pick, pull, and deliver parts/tires to internal technicians at designated workstations in a timely and
accurate manner.Conduct perpetual inventory spot checks, assist with year-end inventory counts, and help maintain inventory
accuracy.Work closely with the shipping & receiving team to receive and process special-order parts for vehicles in the shop.
Provide general warehouse support, including organizing stock, labeling, and maintaining clean storage areas.
Perform basic housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and handling garbage/recycling.
Lift and move items up to 50 lbs safely and effectively.
Train on and operate a forklift in accordance with safety standards and dealership policies.
Assist with other department tasks as needed to support efficient operations.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
Previous experience in automotive parts, warehousing, or inventory management is an asset but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and follow dealership processes and safety procedures (including forklift training).

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast-paced walking, and light jogging when necessary.
Lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times.
Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
