Professional Summary
Dolan Concrete Construction is seeking a safety profession to implement our Safe Work Program strategy. The focus will be on day-to-day operational aspects including on-the-ground implementation of safety protocols and procedures (e.g., conducting safety inspections/audits, identifying and reporting hazards, implementing safety policies, investigating minor accidents, implementation of safety initiatives, and assistance with training employees). Close coordination with the Operations and Project Management departments will be a key aspect of the position.
Core Qualifications
· Maintain an excellent OSHA safety record.
· Maintain safety on each job site.
· Must have excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills for management and field personnel.
· Must have strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam/Adobe, Procore).
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred
Construction Experience
· Construction-related safety experience is preferred.
Training & Certifications
· OSHA 30-hour Construction Certificate
· Fall Protection – Competent Person Certification (Preferred)
· CPR/First Aid Certification
· Class C Driver’s License with safe driving record
· Drug & Alcohol Mandated Supervisor Recognition Training Certification (Preferred)
· Competent Person Rated – Respirable Crystalline Silica (Preferred)
· Construction Health and Safety Technician (Preferred)
Responsibilities
· Conduct periodic and scheduled work site inspections and bring any safety issues up to field management.
· Create Site Specific Job Hazard Assessments.
· Conduct quarterly safety meetings for all supervisory field personnel.
· Develop Site Specific Safety Plans.
· Work closely with field management to maintain all local state and federal safety standards.
· Develop safety policies for each project and update policies for ongoing projects.
· Create and distribute weekly tool-box safety meetings.
· Monitor office surveillance system and train office personnel in emergency protocols.
· Maintain vehicle shop/yard and all appropriate hazardous waste measures associated with those areas.
· Implement Company Fleet Safety Program – Driver Clearance, Training, Personal Use Policy, DMV Pull Notice Program.
· Obtain and distribute Site Specific Safety Data Sheets.
· Maintain OSHA Annual Permit and Site-Specific Activity Notifications.
· Identify appropriate fall protection systems and ensure that they are installed and used properly.
· Develop and update all safety policies on all work sites.
· Maintain 100% protection of other trades and public on all jobsites.
· Review and update company IIPP on an annual basis to comply with all state and federal law.
· Conduct new hire training and orientations.
· Conduct all incident/accident investigations and design corrective action plans.
· Process all workers’ compensation claims and assist employees with obtaining and participating in the appropriate medical care.
· Assist employees participating in and completing the early return to work program.
· Assist with all insurance company inspections and evaluations.
· Procurement of PPE for employees
· Continuing education efforts will be required throughout employment.

· $50/hour to $60/hour pay rate dependent on experience and qualifications
