Dohrn is currently seeking a Full Time Office Clerk at our Oak Creek, WI terminal.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: $19.00/Hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
To locate and correctly place over, short, damaged, and missing freight and prevent claims.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- We will train; previous trucking experience is not necessary.
- Office experience is a plus.
- Daily telephone and written communication with internal and external customers.
- Review manifests, bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Assist terminals and customers in regard to over, short and damaged freight.
- Request dispositions for redelivery, reconsignment and returns.
- Locate missing freight
- Research mis-delivered freight & ensure it gets delivered correctly
- Billing of disposition freight.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School completion or equivalent
- Valid Driver License
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, problem-solver, self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain great relationships with customers
- Ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Excellent attendance
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time
- May be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
- Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
- Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others
