What a Supply Chain Manager will do:
- Lead and develop the supply chain team, including Planners, Buyers, and S&R Supervisors
- Build and execute supply chain strategies in alignment with corporate and operational goals
- Manage end-to-end supply chain performance, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring customer orders are delivered on time
- Analyze and optimize processes, addressing constraints, resolving part outages, and mitigating risks
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, value, obsolescence, and cost control
- Monitor supplier performance, address gaps, and collaborate across Sales, Engineering, and Operations on new product launches and ECOs
- Direct production planning processes and align supply with demand through SIOP participation
- Foster collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support strategic, quality, and safety objectives
What you need to be a Supply Chain Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations, with exposure to at least two supply chain functions
- Proven leadership experience managing direct and indirect teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory systems
- Ability to work independently, make timely decisions, and adapt in dynamic environments
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders or stairs, and perform occasional bending or kneeling
