Warehouse Lead

Hourly Rate: $20-$23/hr.

Location: Spencer, IA

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday

Drive daily warehouse operations while helping prepare the team for a planned expansion. This role supports organizing workflows, improving layout and traffic flow, and ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and with strong team coordination. The Warehouse Lead guides the daily work of the team members and plays a key role in improving structure and consistency on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping activities to maintain accurate and efficient flow.
• Support the setup and optimization of the expanded warehouse layout, including one-way traffic paths, signage, barcoding, and the placement of safety equipment.
• Guide and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, promoting clear communication and steady, solutions-focused leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment through regular walk throughs and organization checks.
• Provide training on warehouse procedures, product handling, and safety standards.
• Communicate needs, challenges, and workflow updates
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve workflow issues and support process improvements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of warehouse experience with a strong understanding of product flow and inventory basics.
• Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm, level-headed leadership style.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred.
