What You'll Do as a Service Manager:
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for customers and field service personnel
- Coordinate service schedules, repair activities, and customer communications
- Process warranty claims and monitor repair progress through completion
- Conduct technical, operational, and maintenance training for customers, dealers, and service technicians
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and product support teams to resolve issues and improve products
- Interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and service documentation to support repairs
- Maintain service records, training documents, and repair procedures while leading service performance discussions
What You Need to Bring to the Service Manager Role:
- Associate degree in a technical field, industry certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, heavy equipment, machinery attachments, or related industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Strong customer service, communication, presentation, and training abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in office, shop, and outdoor job site environments
- Valid ability to travel to customer locations, training events, and service sites as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications #SMNCareers
