Business Development Representative
Mankato, MN | Base Salary Uncapped Commission Bonuses Mileage Reimbursement

Doherty Staffing Solutions is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Mankato team. In this role, you'll develop new client partnerships, grow existing accounts, and help businesses solve workforce challenges. What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new business through networking, cold outreach, referrals, social media, and in-person meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with decisionmakers, influencers, and key stakeholders
- Conduct client meetings to identify workforce needs and present staffing solutions
- Grow and retain existing customer accounts by providing exceptional service and support
- Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to deliver outstanding client experiences
- Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and business growth strategies
- Participate in local business, professional, and community organizations to increase market presence
- Conduct workplace safety assessments and client presentations
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- 2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, staffing, recruiting, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
