General Job Description
Dogwood Industries is seeking a dependable and tech-savvy IT Help Desk Technician to provide frontline IT support across our Sedro-Woolley, Everett, and Bothell locations. This 100% on-site role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations for our team members. The ideal candidate will manage incoming support tickets, handle device setups, maintain user accounts and documentation, and escalate complex issues. Your work will allow our IT team to focus on strategic initiatives and infrastructure improvements that support our rapid growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incoming support tickets via our RMM platform (e.g., NinjaOne)
- Provide face-to-face and remote technical support for Windows 11 laptops/desktops
- Provision and support iPhones; coordinate with cellular providers
- Perform employee onboarding/offboarding:
o Device configuration and setup
o User account provisioning and deactivation
o Managing permissions in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, ERP, and internal platforms
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot SolidWorks and PDM
- Administer Exchange Online: shared mailboxes, calendars, distribution lists
- Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for MFA, Conditional Access, and user management
- Assist with backups, device transitions, and data migrations
- Provide basic troubleshooting for Ubiquiti UniFi networking gear (APs, switches, firewalls)
- Perform network cabling and patch panel work
- Support Microsoft Intune for device policy and app deployment
- Maintain accurate hardware/software asset tracking
- Create and update IT documentation (setup guides, procedures, configs, etc.)
- Escalate complex issues to the senior IT team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Exchange Online
- Skilled in supporting Windows 11 devices and user account management
- Experience provisioning and troubleshooting mobile devices (iPhones preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP platforms and supporting business systems
- SolidWorks and PDM installation/troubleshooting experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Dogwood sites (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong communication, task tracking, and documentation skills
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi networks and basic troubleshooting
- Exposure to ERP platforms with user/permissions configuration
- PowerShell scripting or automation knowledge
- CompTIA A , Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent certifications
- Awareness of CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) environments or secure IT practices
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
This position requires light physical activity in an office environment. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a computer desk with the option to stand, is utilizing a phone frequently and participating in meetings with colleagues. There are steps in the office.
Compensation
$29.00 - $37.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location
This is an onsite position based out of the Dogwood Sedro-Woolley Factory Office at 500 Metcalf St, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284. Travel to Dogwood’s Bothell and Everett locations, as needed.
