Job Overview

Dogwood Hills Tree Farm is a small family owned and operated company looking for exceptional individuals who want to be part of a team that is always looking to grow and improve. We grow, sell, transplant, trim, and remove trees. We have multiple positions available and are willing to train and teach all aspects of the job. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good character, and a teachable spirit.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to maintain attention during dangerous tasks
• Must be able to receive instruction and correction
• Must be able to perform tasks that are labor intensive
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to work
• Must understand and adhere to company policies and safety protocols
• Must be able to pass a drug screen

Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Assist crews with all aspects of tree trimming and removal
• Assist crews with the delivery and installation of trees
• Assist with digging, trimming, and maintenance of trees
• Assist with grounds maintenance at the farms

Beneficial Skills

• Ability to safely operate chainsaws, mowers, trimmers, etc
• Proficiency while safely operating skid loaders
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers
• Knowledge and ability to assist with rigging on tree removal jobs.
• Ability to safely operate a stump grinder
• Knowledge and ability to operate and maintain chippers
• Ability to correctly connect, back up, and pull a trailer
• Knowledge and ability to trim trees using various methods.
