What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook for Assisted Living position at Dogwood Corinth?
Shift Hours: 10a-6p throughout week and 6a-6p every other weekend
Pay Range: $10-12/Hour | Immediate Access to DailyPay
ServSafe preferred but not required
- Rate of pay is based on experience
- Ability to cook home-style meals for large groups of people
- Ability to write, read and follow recipes
- Organizes food prep, cleaning, meal serving, ordering, kitchen organization, etc.
- Purchases food service supplies, raw food
- Ensures proper sanitation, hygiene, and health standards
- Maintains adequate department records
- Assists in dining room serving
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including listening skills.
- Strong customer service skills – both internal and external.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have an overall “caring” personality and attitude.
