Parent Relationship Manager (PRM)
Dogtopia is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and proactive leader to champion our parent experience, sales, and marketing initiatives at our new North Portland location, opening early 2026. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Parent Relationship Manager will work closely alongside them to hire and coach a successful Front Desk team. You will be the driving force behind building meaningful connections with pet parents, growing our community, and turning first impressions into lifelong relationships.
Your role will be vital in creating unforgettable experiences for every dog and parent—ensuring every dog has the Most Exciting Day Ever.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute marketing campaigns across social media, email, and local partnerships to attract and engage families
- Coach and develop the Front Desk team, ensuring every interaction with parents is welcoming and effective
- Manage the full parent lifecycle—from lead generation and Meet & Greets to enrollment and retention
- Plan and manage a full monthly event calendar, featuring daily in-store activities that engage dogs and parents, foster community, and support revenue growth
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing data to guide your strategies and share insights
- Work in partnership with the General Manager and Canine Coach Trainer to ensure smooth operations and consistent messaging
- Identify and support at-risk parents with proactive retention efforts.
- Develop community partnerships and coordinate Guerrilla Marketing to broaden Dogtopia’s reach
What Success Looks Like:
- A motivated Front Desk team that acts as the welcoming face and heart of the business, feeling confident, supported, and inspired to deliver exceptional service
- During pre-opening, your goal will be to sign on 100 Founders (weekly enrollment pet parents) to reserve their rate for the first year of daycare
- Strategic outreach and community engagement that brings in new leads and encourages pet parents to book Meet & Greets—resulting in a steady flow of enrollments with the support of the Front Desk team – your goal will be an average of 20 Meet & Greets per week
- Genuine, lasting relationships with pet parents that inspire repeat visits, word-of-mouth referrals, and a sense of belonging
- Creative and impactful marketing campaigns that grow brand awareness and drive new interest in our services
- Thoughtful engagement with parents to resolve concerns early and build trust, backed by targeted retention and reactivation efforts that minimize churn
- Close collaboration with the General Manager and Canine Coach Trainer to align goals and ensure a smooth, connected experience for every pet parent and dog

Pay Structure:
- Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- Base Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually, based on experience
- Bonus Opportunity: Up to 20% of base salary annually, paid quarterly
- Bonus Criteria: Performance-based, tied to lead generation, lead conversion, lead nurturing, and parent retention
