About the Role:
- The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups.
- Greet everyone who walks in or out of Dogtopia.
- Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone and in person.
- Check pups in and out of daycare.
- Able to handle complaints and conflicts
- Able to enter all data into customer profile and puts in updates to ensure we are aware of prior history of significant issues or concerns.
- Assists in taking pictures- first day, boarding stays, and social media posts.
- Creates various items (birthday cards, boarding report cards, first day cards, etc.) to convey the positive experience of the pet’s “most exciting day ever”.
- Assists in organizing “Party days” and helping in moving dogs to take pictures
- Cleaning and Administrative
- Manages appearance of front desk. Follows cleaning protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Moves dogs in and out of the building and responds to playroom assistance needed
- Communication: Clearly relaying and documenting needs while maintaining a warm and diplomatic demeanor, identifying and enabling shift to shift communication, coordinate with Manager on Duty in person and remotely, provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding care and concerns, professional communication through email, text, phone calls, social media and in person
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalating situations, handling concerns with empathy, and offering solutions.
- Grace Under Pressure: Juggling multiple requests and staying calm during a fast-paced or busy shift, prioritizing tasks and staying aware of the 'big picture' while focusing on the task at hand
- Organization: Independent worker with a team attitude, keeping track of multiple projects, deadlines, goals as well as day to day activities and needs.

Schedule:
Primary hours are 10a-6p Monday-Friday or Tuesday - Saturday
Flexibility required to meet business needs, events and coverage
Management level Exempt Salary, schedule & bonuses possible for the right candidate
