Dogtopia of North Overland Park is seeking an outgoing, customer service professional for our fast-paced front desk. We are a state-of-the-art dog daycare, boarding and spa facility located right on I-435 Metcalf exit in Overland Park, KS. Plus you get to bring your dog to work!
As the face of Dogtopia, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our pet parents. We are looking for responsible, dependable people as this position is an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Administrative and clerical duties include meeting and greeting customers, checking customers in as they arrive for their scheduled appointments/boarding, scheduling reservations
- Plan/ Run scheduled events in-store
- Upsell service baths, dog treats and encourage signups for events
- Record / Post fun videos and events on Facebook and Instagram
- Cleaning of lobby and reception areas, assisting other team members as requested
- Excited about helping pet owners solve pet related problems
- Detail-oriented, an excellent multi-tasker and take pride in your work environment
- Not shy and love to talk to people
- An exceptional salesperson – can up-sell while always remaining friendly and personable (no high-pressure sales)
- Have a pleasant, yet enthusiastic phone manner
- Flexible in your availability, mornings, afternoons and some weekends
Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience: Front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
Hours: 30-39 / week
