Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Professional grooming techniques for a variety of dog breeds
- Perform grooming services, including bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring, medicated and general cleansing, teeth brushing and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
- Groom animals utilizing techniques which vary depending on type of hair, coat, breed and owner instructions
- Ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers and pets
Job Requirement
- Professional grooming experience
- Grooming certification from accredited school
- Ability to market and grow the grooming business
- Minimum 2-3 year of experience in bathing/grooming animals in a professional environment.
Candidate must be capable of working in a high-volume shop and be able to jump right in. Pet groomer must be willing to work weekends – Friday and Saturday.
