Shifts Available: 3–4 shifts per week (approximately 20 hours per week)
Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, and solution-minded individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
This is a key role within our business, focused on growing the number of dogs in daycare while educating pet parents on the benefits of our services. The ideal candidate loves both dogs and people and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Position Overview
The Pet Parent Representative is the front-line connection to our pet parents and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for every guest—two-legged and four-legged.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with pet parents, team members, and veterinarians
- Answer incoming calls and schedule new customers
- Accurately record health and behavioral notes in daily activity logs and communicate details between shifts
- Maintain confidentiality in all Dogtopia practices and business operations
- Use Dogtopia’s client software to:
- Check dogs in and out
- Schedule services
- Update pet profiles, vaccination records, and other required information
- Communicate health or behavior concerns to pet parents in a professional and compassionate manner
- Manage billing issues and customer inquiries
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby and front desk area
- Assist with bringing dogs in and out of the building as needed
As the face of the business, you will work with customers, furry friends, and team members to ensure Dogtopia delivers the highest standards of satisfaction, safety, and fun.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely handle and manipulate dogs weighing 100 pounds
- Ability to sit and stand repeatedly throughout the day
