Day to Day Duties
- Welcome Dogtopians at drop off and pick up of their dogs.
- Cultivating an outstanding Dogtopia experience — provide dog parents with professional wisdom and advocate for the most appropriate solutions to meet their daycare, boarding, and spa needs.
- Work directly with dog parents selling weekly enrollment in daycare and wellness services
- Give tours to new pet parents and sell enrollment packages.
- Collaborate with and supervise our front desk team to create an exceptional experience at every customer interaction
- Maintains a neat and always organized front desk and lobby area.
- Sets the example for the team on the 3 Ss (smile, story, and satisfaction) and hold accountable to internal and external customer service standards.
- Answer phones, e-mails, and questions from pet parents
- Assist the general manager with administrative duties.
- Assist with social media posts.
- Assist with escorting dogs up to 150 pounds to and from playrooms.
- Manage our front-of-house customer management and billing systems.
- Maintain and update our cleaning and maintenance schedule.

Key qualifications:
- Must LOVE dogs!
- Primary shift will be 1:40-7:30 pm, but may also include mornings 6:40 am to 12:30 pm. Will work every other Saturday 8:45 am to 5:30 pm. May serve as manager on call on Sunday holidays.
- Must be able to work up to 50% of all holiday weeks and spring break.
- Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment.
- At least 1 years of exceptional customer service in a lead or manager position.
- At least 1 years of exceptional sales experience
- Ability and comfort level to manage phone calls, online inquiries, and customer questions.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation for written communication.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing all tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfortable with technology, social media, and learning software programs.

A parent emails asking to use our services but the 6-month old dog only has 2 of the 4 required vaccines (is missing canine influenza and Bordetella) and is not neutered.
