We are currently in growth mode, with plans to expand from our current location to two additional company-owned locations and one franchise location in the near future. As we grow, we are investing in building a marketing team to support our current and future locations.

Position Summary
DogiZone is seeking a Marketing Coordinator Intern with a focus on Social Media and Content Creation. This role is ideal for someone who understands social trends, enjoys creating engaging content, and is comfortable being both behind and occasionally in front of the camera.
This position will work directly with the Director of Marketing to help execute content, support marketing initiatives, and grow DogiZone’s presence across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, social-media savvy, and excited about helping a growing brand become more visible and relevant online while maintaining a professional and consistent brand identity.
This internship provides hands-on experience in social media marketing, brand storytelling, content creation, and marketing operations within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create, schedule, and publish content across DogiZone’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others as needed)
- Develop creative content ideas that support all of our services - boarding, daycare, training, grooming and retail - aligned with social trends and DogiZone’s brand voice and authority in the petcare space
- Capture and edit photo and video content featuring dogs, staff, and daily activities
- Create short-form video content for platforms such as Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Occasionally appear on camera to help create engaging content when appropriate
- Write engaging captions and copy that reflect DogiZone’s brand personality and authority in the petcare space
- Monitor comments and messages and respond in a professional, friendly manner
- Help track engagement metrics and identify content that performs well
- Support development of longer-form content opportunities such as YouTube videos or series
Marketing Support
- Assist the Head of Marketing with marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Help coordinate and schedule marketing content including email marketing support
- Assist with organizing content calendars and posting schedules
Requirements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college or graduated with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or related fields preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and digital culture
- Active on social media. You don’t need a massive following - we care more about creativity and instincts for good content.
- Comfortable creating content and occasionally appearing on camera
- Strong written communication skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
- Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and experiment
- Genuine interest in dogs and pet-related content
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar editing tools
- Familiarity with short-form video editing
- Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
- Understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube content styles
