Job Overview
Must have a minimum of one year experience grooming. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and safety while enhancing their appearance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and handling, with at least 1 year of experience in grooming various breeds of dogs.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, brushing, and nail trimming for dogs.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Handle animals safely and comfortably during grooming sessions, employing proper animal restraint techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area and equipment to ensure a safe environment for pets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred.
- Strong skills in dog handling, animal care, and animal restraint techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple animals.
