What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Assistant position at Doggie Depot, Inc.?
The Doggie Depot Hotel & Daycare in Danvers is currently seeking daycare and kennel attendants! Must LOVE dogs and previous experience is preferred.
- This position is for someone who enjoys working outside in all kinds of weather when needed. (We also have indoor playrooms).
- Can lift 40 lbs if necessary.
- Responsibilities include reading instructions, feeding meals, and administering medications properly.
- Cleaning kennels, rooms and equipment associated with cleaning.
- Strong organizational skills and note taking.
- Must have a driver's license.
- Cleaning experience.
- Is a self starter and has common sense.
- Strong work ethic and is reliable person that can show up on time for shifts, and a offers positive contributions to the team.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Possesses knowledge of dog breeds and animal behavior and restraint.
- This is a physical job that requires you to act fast on many occasions.
- Must have patience with dogs and has customer service skills to interact with clients as they drop off and pick up dogs!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
