Duties
- Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment
- Pick and pack orders accurately using RF scanners and manual methods to fulfill customer requests
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and load & unload trucks with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage inventory by organizing stock in designated areas, conducting cycle counts, and updating records with basic math skills
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety procedures during all warehouse activities
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and preparing items for dispatch
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following proper manual handling techniques and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or distribution center work preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanner technology is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols including OSHA regulations related to materials handling and equipment operation
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving or order picking roles will be advantageous for success in this position
