Job Summary
The branch manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their branch location.
Essential Functions
• Allocate resources and materials to meet project deadlines
• Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
• Provide daily operations oversight for outside teams
• Plan, develop and implement the operational strategies and tactics
• Ensure adequate management training and development to provide for management succession
• Direct and lead staff in developing strategies to accomplish objectives approved by ownership
• Plan, control, communicate and implement procedures and processes for the overall efficient operations of the business
• Lead and direct management team in the development, production, promotion of products and services
• Oversee dispatch, sales, and safety regulations at the branch
• Recruit, manage, and maintain personnel to develop the branch for high performance
• Develop plans to drive revenue growth
• Anticipate problems at the branch and work with various departments to overcome them
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective customers
• Manage the branch budget and allocate funds properly
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Complete accurate and timely branch reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with company reporting standards
• Maintain positive relationships with current customers and begin building relations with potential customers
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field preferred
• 3-5 years management experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office
Travel Requirements
Travel up to 15% of the time, or as needed.
Environmental Conditions
Work will be conducted in an air-conditioned office. Exposure to the outdoors may be required as needed to greet customers.
