This position will operate a cash drawer by taking orders of customers and handling store receipts and money
Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate accounts of cash that is in the cash drawer containing a set amount of various denominations of bills and coins
- May also process credit and debit card transactions as well as facilitating check payments
- Responsible for taking customers orders and payments and giving back an y change due to them and giving them a copy of their receipt
- Maintaining a copy of the merchants receipts
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous Cashier experience is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must be self-motivated
- Previous experience handling cash
