Body Shop Estimator

Essential Functions
- Assessing vehicle damage and writing an accurate estimate in CCC to send to insurance companies and customers
- Providing exceptional customer service to your customers with clear and frequent communication with customers/insurance carriers regarding status of repair work, and any issues that may arise
- Being able to communicate with parts and service departments frequently
- Opening RO’s, Opening Purchase Orders, billing labor & paint time into the system for technicians
- Knowledge of being able to reconcile tickets
- Frequently working together with body shop technicians on repairs to write clear and conscience estimates and supplements as needed
- Answering and returning phone calls daily
- Putting up with different personalities in a family-oriented environment
- Being able to lift over 40lbs, being in heat, rain, and cold elements
- Experience with body shop requested not required
- Willing to learn in a very fast paced environment
- Able to multitask
- We work in CCC as well as CDK operating systems, and Microsoft
- Pay commensurate with experience
Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ experience in automotive/construction service administrator role.
- College or technical school certificate/degree preferred.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Diligent work ethic and dedicated approach to performing duties.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
