Requirements:
- A flexible schedule, filling in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Weekend availability.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification and understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat and reach above shoulder level.
- Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to extreme cold/hot temperatures
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
- Prepare meals quickly, efficient, and accurately
- Operate and maintain cooking equipment such as grills, fryers and griddles.
- Verify that prepared food meets Dog Haus requirements for quality and quantity.
- Maintain food preparation area, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Maintain Dog Haus standards for food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, and safety.
Dog Haus creates hand-crafted all beef hot dogs and sausages with no added nitrates, 100% Black Angus beef burgers and unique fried chicken creations, all of which are made with hormone- and antibiotic-free meat and served on King's Hawaiian rolls, and all of which have garnered critical acclaim and national attention. To chase it down, guests can select great craft beers from a tap list emphasizing local favorites or a signature cocktail, and they can finish their meals on a sweet note with premium shakes or soft-serve ice cream. Open for lunch and dinner daily, guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings.
