Experienced Dog Groomer – Part Time (Luxury Dog Hotel & Daycare)

I am looking for an experienced, patient, and reliable dog groomer to join my growing small business 3 days per week at a luxury dog hotel & doggy daycare.

This position is ideal for a groomer who enjoys working in a calm, low-stress environment and values quality over quantity. I work with one family of dogs at a time, which is mandatory for my business model to ensure a peaceful experience for every pet.

Requirements:

• Must have grooming experience

• Must have your own grooming tools

• Must be gentle, patient, and safety-focused when handling dogs

• Must be friendly and professional with pet parents

• Must be comfortable communicating with clients for drop-off & pick-up times and haircut preferences

• Some clients will require virtual communication while their pets are staying at the facility

• Ability to communicate effectively with business owner with any concerns or questions

• Must be comfortable checking out grooming clients and processing payments. some in person and some virtual

What I provide:

• Grooming table

• Tub (suits both small and large dogs)

• Fluff dryer & high-velocity dryer

• Shampoo & conditioner

• Ear cleaner, cotton balls

• Toothbrushes & toothpaste

• On-site staff support

• Established client base within the dog hotel/daycare

• Established client base outside of the dog hotel/daycare

Pay:

• Commission starts at 45%

• Weekly pay

• All cash tips paid same-day

• All digital tips paid weekly

• Part-time — 3 days per week preferred

• access to supplied tools for your personal dog to receive one bath each month

This position is located onsite at a luxury dog hotel & doggy daycare, and is perfect for a groomer who enjoys working mostly alone, and closely with pets in a relaxed, personalized setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $31.15 per hour
