What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scoop Technician position at Dog Doo Be Gone?
We're hiring part-time poop scoop technician in Tampa for our dog waste removal business. No experience needed. This role is best suited for someone needing flexible hours (5 hours-10 a week) with an opportunity to grow to more and who does not mind working alone. We also offer cat waste removal (though no customers currently), so please note if you are allergic when you apply. We may begin including dog walking as well.
Make-up work may be scheduled during the weekend if unable to complete during the weekdays due to poor weather, as needed.
Your primary role is to remove dog waste from residential yards, and setting out door hangers in the customers' communities.
Typical service appointments are 12-15 min in length before moving to the next property. Placing door hangers on neighboring doors takes can take up to 45 min unless otherwise scheduled.
We do not currently haul dog waste - we leave it at the customer.
Employment type: W2 employee with starting wage $18/hour including vehicle mileage reimbursement when in a service route (from the first customer to the last customer).
Requirements:
- Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Must undergo a background check
- Be friendly, positive and presentable
- Be able to work independently
- Be able to work outdoors up to 1.5 hours at a time
- Be able to place door hangers on customer doors
- You may need to haul & dispose of dog waste (we provide storage containers)
- No criminal background (background check performed)
