Dog Bather / Receptionist
Dog de Salon – Keller, TX
Experienced Dog bather needed for a friendly, professional salon. Patience, gentle handling, and professionalism with pets and teammates are essential.
- Salon hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Appointment-based salon
- Dedicated reception staff handle scheduling and customer communication, you might need to support her at times
- Bathers typically handle 4–7 dogs per day depending on size, breed, and service requirements
- 100% of the tips are shared between groomers & bathers
Responsibilities
- Perform bathing, grooming, and drying services for dogs of all sizes and breeds, ensuring high-quality care and attention to detail.
- Handle animal restraint safely and humanely during grooming procedures, utilizing animal handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming areas, tools, and equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with pet care tasks such as feeding, walking, or administering basic veterinary-related needs when required.
- Perform nail trims and other basic bathing services as trained
Requirements
- Experience working with dogs preferred, certifications in pet grooming or dog training are a plus.
- Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
- Able to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
