Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grinder/Saw Operator Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will learn to set up and operate grinding and saw machines to remove excess material, achieve precise dimensions, and produce high-quality finished parts. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to read various tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual or CNC grinding and saw machines.
- Grind, polish, and finish metal or other materials according to specifications.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Document production and quality inspection results.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Preferred previous manufacturing or grinding experience, otherwise, willing to train.
· Practices a strong work ethic.
· The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk.
- Ability to read and interpret workorders and measurement tools.
Work Environment:
- Full time (40 hours)
