Doeren Mayhew is seeking a full-time Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist in the Fredonia, NY office. This position requires one to work in the office Monday through Friday.

Doeren Mayhew is seeking a full-time Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist in the Fredonia, NY office. This position requires one to work in the office Monday through Friday.
Payroll Responsibilities
- Process client payroll using Asure Evolution Payroll.
- Perform accurate and timely data input for payroll cycles.
- Review payroll entries proactively and identify potential errors or inconsistencies.
- Set up and complete direct deposits for client payrolls.
- Manage recurring weekly payroll responsibilities.
- Support quarter-end and tax-season activities
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging in size and industry.
- Process checks and post deposits using QuickBooks.
- Perform bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with general bookkeeping tasks to support accurate financial records.
- 2 years of payroll and/or bookkeeping experience required.
- Associate’s degree in business administration or accounting preferred.
- Ability to work in the office Monday through Friday.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
