Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Assist with medication intake, inventory management, and medication administration processes
- Support patient service activities, including answering questions and providing medication information
- Document medication transactions accurately using electronic health records or pharmacy systems
- Support the pharmacy team in managing medication orders, stock levels, and expiration tracking
- Uphold high standards of patient care through attentive service and attention to detail
- Process completed transactions
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of patient service principles and patient care standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with healthcare professionals and patients
- Experience with medication reconciliation, intake procedures, and community pharmacy workflows is advantageous
