Dodge County Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Girls Basketball Coach. This position is not tied to a specific position, but applicants must meet all employment and certification requirements established by the district and the Georgia High School Association.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified teacher, OR
- Certified paraprofessional, OR
- Bachelor's degree with eligibility for employment within the district
- Must meet all GHSA coaching requirements prior to the start of the season
Requirements:
- Completion of GHSA Coaching Education Program (PREPARE/First Aid & Principles for Coaching)
- Successful completion of GHSA certification exams
- Participation in required GHSA rules clinics
- Background check and district onboarding requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous head coaching experience
- Knowledge of basketball fundamentals and program development
- Ability to build and sustain a competitive program aligned with district expectations
Additional Information:
This position may be combined with available teaching or support positions within the district, if applicable.
