Under the direct supervision of the Provost, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative duties and help with special projects, record keeping, scheduling, and the overall functioning of the Chandler location.

- To understand and commit to the Mission of Dodge City Community College that states to provide a student-centered learning environment where students can achieve their educational, personal, and career goals.
- Assist the Provost with tasks necessary for achieving the vision of the Provost's Office and the other departments that fall under the Provost's supervision.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create documents and advertisement materials for DC3 Chandler, including updating of social media.
- Assist the Provost with office management including, but not limited to, ordering supplies, responding to phone calls and correspondence, preparing reports, processing incoming and outgoing mail, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory.
- Present a professional, helpful atmosphere and positive attitude for DC3 students, staff, visitors and callers.
- Assist with student admissions, course registration, and student financing, as needed.
- Provide customer service by greeting students and visitors, answering incoming calls, and directing as needed and/or providing appropriate information and successful resolution of routine administrative issues relative to DC3-Chandler and Flight Program.
- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement.
- Maintain accurate and current calendar for the Provost, schedule meetings as needed, make room arrangements, make travel arrangements, and assist with event planning.
- Serve as the record keeper during meetings.
- Assist in maintaining accurate/compliant student files.
- Assist in reporting and maintaining VA Compliance.
- Monitor and assist the Provost with completing employee evaluation documents.
- Maintain and track all records and documentation regarding student issues/complaints in addition to faculty/staff issues/complaints
- Assist with new employee/student orientation and development.
- Creates, composes, and edits technical and/or administrative correspondence and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned by the Provost.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Proven ability to work with diverse populations including tradition and non-traditional students.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, or like programs.
- Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
- Associate's degree or higher

- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
- Ability to speak clearly and audibly to students in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to stretch, bend, stoop, and kneel as required to perform the duties of this position.
