PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Hold Valid West Virginia Professional Administrative Certification.
- Hold certification in Educational Leadership, curriculum and instruction or related field.
- Have at least 3 years of successful teaching experience.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent and/or his designee
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All administrators must: maintain valid administrative licensure at all times, renew administrative/educator licenses as set forth by WVDE, maintain positive work habits, perform duties as assigned and directed, maintain and upgrade professional skills, communicate effectively and exhibit professional administrative leadership knowledge and strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effective in communication, planning, organization, presentation and leadership skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of effective instructional strategies and research-based practices.
- Research and evaluation skills necessary to conduct needs assessment, analyze data and conduct program evaluation.
- Exhibits a professional attitude, appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to be present at extra-curricular activities throughout the school year.
- Displays proper management of resources including personnel, finance, and facilities.
- Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and the community at large.
- Continue to foster business and community partnerships and connections.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superintendent and/or designee.

- Experience with Elementary School Curriculum
- Knowledge/exerience with Special Education polices/procedures as it relates to a buidling level administrator.
TERM: 261-Day contract to begin the 2026-2027 school year.
