Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in felony and misdemeanor criminal cases in San Diego County courts
- Handle federal cases
- Appear regularly in court for arraignments, motions, prelims, and trials
- Draft and argue motions, including suppression, evidentiary, and procedural motions
- Conduct client interviews, investigations, and witness preparation
- Negotiate effectively with prosecutors while preparing every case as if it’s going to trial
- Maintain clear, disciplined case management and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
- Experience handling high-volume caseloads with precision
- Familiarity working alongside law enforcement agencies and custody matters
- Exceptional writing, advocacy, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and strategic under pressure
