Job descriptionDTS (www.doc-tracking.com) works with school districts throughout the U.S. to facilitate and streamline completion of local, state and federally mandated reports. As part of this service, DTS also provides translation support for a variety of languages. What We Are Looking For:DTS seeks a Translations Coordinator:Translation project management including set up, assigning, monitoring and delivery.Follow-up to ensure client satisfaction,Contact existing and prospective clients to provide information about DTS Translation Support.Applicants must demonstrate strong work ethic with a positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to be relied upon without constant supervision. (Applicants must also be willing to work weekends and/or monitor emails after hours on an as-needed basis) Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Director of Translations, Translations Coordinators serve as a main point-of-contact for DTS clients seeking translation services. Utilizing DTS resources (translators, software and support), Translations Coordinators:Ensure that all client communications receive a response and are resolved in a timely and professional manner. These communications include, but are not limited to, requests for quotes, translations, inquiries regarding existing or completed projects and general customer support.Ensure that translation projects are assigned and delivered to clients in a reasonable timeframe.Follow-up with clients to ensure client satisfaction.Qualifications:Requirements:Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with the ability to balance competing deadlines and adjust workflows as needed.Project management experienceOverall advanced proficiency with computers. Self-reliant to troubleshoot and resolve PC issues.Exceptional communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and AccessGeneral understanding of how web pages work and HTMLExperience using different web browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)Preferred:Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and/or other languages.Translation experienceAbility to:Write legiblyOwn and use your personal laptop (Windows 10 OS preferred)Produce, retrieve, and store word-processing and email documentsDistinguishing Characteristics:Strong attention to detail and ability to review own workStrong work ethicAbility to assess project time needs and create /meet deadlinesSelf-starter without the need for constant supervisionPositive attitudeWillingness to handle the occasional after hours or weekend call/projectSociable Work Schedule/CompensationIndividual will work from 40 hours a week; flex schedule to some extent. Salary is negotiable. All work is completed remotely. We will provide training but individual must have a personal laptop with all essential software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Adobe Reader) installed.
